While catalogs like Smart Pak Equine, and one or two others offer the small 2.2 lb at $12.95, and the large at $24.95, people are usually willing to pay a little more to:

• have it NOW, rather than wait a week or so
• NOT have to pay S&H

Catalogs & online sales sites charge a minimum of $5 to $10 S&H per item. You should easily get [removed][removed]$19.95 for the small, [removed][removed]$24.95 for the medium and $29.95 for the large salt licks.
Be sure to reinforce the idea that they are saving money and getting it immediately.

Other things you can do to offset the higher cost is to

• include it in a package deal – for example, sell as part of a “horsey starter set” containing brushes, bug spray, wormers, etc, nicely arranged in a feed bucket…
• educate your sales staff so they can adequately educate the consumer. There are significant health benefits associated with Himalayan salt that are not associated with “regular” salt licks.

The Himalayan Salt licks are available individually, by the case and by the pallet (60 cases). If you want less than 60 cases, we ship 1/2 pallets (30 cases) and individual cases (1-29).

The small licks are 12 per case, and the medium ones are 12 per case. We can get stock in any size or form you want – just ask.

If you’d like a sample, use the contact form, and include your UPS, DHL or other carrier account number. If you don’t have an account, they are very easy to set up, and you should have one as a retailer anyway.
